KS-Parts is a leading supplier of motorcycle accessories based in Bavaria. In their local store and online store, they offer a wide range of products, from motorcycle headlights to motorcycle brakes and motorcycle flushing systems. They are constantly reviewing, optimizing and expanding their range in order to offer their customers products of the highest quality.

Initial situation & challenges

Before the start of our SEO project, KS Parts was facing significant SEO challenges: Organic traffic to the website was minimal, and its presence in the top 10 search results was virtually non-existent. This in turn meant that sales were coming in irregularly and unpredictably. A constant stream of organic sales was needed.

Goal
The goal of generating a constant stream of organic sales was of great importance as the company wanted to expand its market presence and create a more stable source of revenue. This was also intended to improve profitability and reduce reliance on paid advertising campaigns, as well as increase customer confidence in the brand and foster long-term customer relationships through improved visibility.

Measures

In order to achieve the aforementioned goals, KS Parts’ SEO strategy had to be completely revised. The first step was to create an SEO audit (SEO analysis) for the KS Parts website. Here, the website was to be examined for all SEO-relevant elements. The following graphic shows the SEO areas that were analyzed in the SEO audit:

After the SEO audit, it turned out that no specific SEO texts were available for important product and product category pages. This significantly limited the visibility and findability of the products.

In addition, the internal link structure was not in place. More structure would make it easier for search engines to index the content of KS Parts and strengthen the site’s authority.

Another problem was the lack of prioritization of keywords: Without a clear strategy as to which keywords or products are particularly important for the company, targeted SEO measures to improve visibility and traffic cannot be implemented with maximum efficiency and effectiveness.

In addition, KS Parts’ initially weak link profile meant that Google had no confidence in the website. Conversely, this meant that We had to pay special attention to off-page optimization to ensure that Google saw KS-Parts as an authority for motorcycle spare parts and motorcycle accessories.
